Anca Vătășoiu

Anca Vătășoiu is an Employment law specialized attorney with over 16 years’ experience in providing customized legal assistance and court representation in relation to the entire range of labor matters. Anca is a member of the Bucharest Bar as of 2008 and has consolidated her career in two of the top law firms of Romania (NNDKP and Musat & Associates), being also recognized, for two consecutive years, in 2017 and 2018, among the Employment Next Generation Lawyers by Legal 500.

Anca Vătășoiu is a member of EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association) and has also graduated the course “Council of Europe HELP EU: Fight against Racism, Xenophobia, Homophobia, Transphobia - Lawyers 2018”, organized by the Bucharest Bar Association in collaboration with the Council of Europe, and “Applying EU anti-discrimination law” course organized in 2019 by the Bucharest Bar Association in collaboration with the Barcelona Bar Association. Lavinia Tomescu

Lavinia Tomescu is an experienced lawyer with a solid understanding of a wide range of commercial legal matters. Before joining Lexters she worked for a significant time for some of the major law firms established in Romania.

Her practice has been focused for the last years on corporate governance and real estate matters, with a deepened understanding of the agricultural land acquisitions and development sector. For the most part of her legal career though, Lavinia Tomesccu has been closely involved in M&A projects in a large variety of industries and advised also natural entities, but mostly foreign owned companies with their acquisitions in Romania in various fields of business.

She also has significant experience in employment related matters, negotiating, contract drafting and intellectual property, advising various clients, such as telecommunication companies, building materials manufacturer, construction companies on day-to day legal aspects, as well as public bids and regulatory matters.

She provided close assistance (corporate, commercial, employment, consumers’ protection and distribution related matters) for an infant nutritional brand part of a multinational food-products corporation in developing its business in Romania.

Emmanuel Sordet

Frame 108 Upon graduating from Université de Paris I Sorbonne and Université de Paris II Assas in law and economics, Emmanuel started his career as a lawyer in charge of the Defence and Multimedia divisions of the Lagardère Group in Paris. In 1999, Emmanuel was appointed Secretary General of Internet activities and, in particular, of Club Internet. In 2000, Emmanuel successfully sold Club Internet to T-Online, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, where he was retained as a legal and regulatory supervisor. In 2006, Emmanuel joined Denton Wilde Sapte and quickly was named partner in charge of the Telecom Media Technology practice. Emmanuel, together with his team, joined Granrut (a French leading firm) in 2010. In 2013, Emmanuel was reappointed by Deutsche Telekom to act as the Corporate Secretary of its fixed-line, Internet and mobile subsidiaries: Romtelecom and Cosmote in Romania (renamed Telekom Romania and Telekom Romania Mobile) and to implement a new business approach in an extremely competitive market. At the end of 2016, Emmanuel successfully resumed his legal activities in France and in 2019 participated at the creation of SLV Legal to offer his clients his knowledge of the Romanian market and the specificities of its economic environment, particularly in the industrial and telecommunications fields. Emmanuel works for clients in industry and services (telecommunications, energy, automotive, luxury, agriculture) more specifically in the fields of M&A, competition and distribution, with a strong operational approach resulting from his long career as companies’ manager. Given his background as both a successful entrepreneur and highly skilled attorney, Emmanuel is keenly aware of clients’ expectations, whether clients are small, medium or large companies. His critical legal thinking paired with his business acumen, allows Emmanuel to find creative solutions that are adapted to the client’s needs, business environment and strategic vision.

Alexandru Stanescu

Membership
Alexandru worked and studied in a wide span of legal areas including banking, capital markets, EU consumer protection, financial instruments and cross-border commercial arbitration. Alexandru graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. He worked with RTPR-Allen Overy on banking regulations early in his career. He then pursued a tri-lingual MBA from Deusto University, Spain and an LLM. Alexandru was a visiting lawyer in the London office of Baker Botts, covering arbitration and corporate matters. Prior to that, Alexandru worked for the World Bank in Trade and Competitiveness, covering competition law and policy, insolvency, enforcing contracts for doing business. He clerked for the European Court of Justice and European Investment Bank. Alexandru was a Fulbright scholar and Wien Corporate Responsibility Fellow at Columbia Law School where he obtained the Masters Degree in Law. In 2019, Alexandru was admitted to the New York State bar. Alexandru is a frequent speaker at conferences relating to international arbitration.

Irina Vasile

Membership
Irina is heading the intellectual property and franchising practice and she is the co-head of the mergers and acquisitions and data privacy practice at Lexters. Irina’s extensive experience in these fields has allowed her to represent a wide range of clients, from startups to corporations, in complex and high-stakes transactions. Her practice covers matters such as IT, IP, franchising, trademark and patent protection, commercial licensing of intellectual property, media, healthcare, consumer protection and regulatory issues.

She is a strategic advisor for companies for their most important litigations, including complex disputes related to franchising, trademark, patent, trade secret, unfair competition, shareholders disputes and other technology-related claims. Prior to founding the boutique law firm in 2018, Irina spent 9 years of her career practicing as a successful attorney at Popovici Nițu Stoica & Asociații.

Tudor Velea

Tudor’s practice focuses on advising banks and private investment funds (both sponsor and buyer side), co-investment funds and some of the private equity industry’s leading sponsors of buyout, growth capital, media and telecommunications, international private equity, U.S. and non-U.S. private investment funds. Tudor received his DEA cum laude from Université de Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1999 and his J. D. from Columbia University School of Law in New York in 2002, where he was the Managing Editor for the Columbia Journal of European Law. He was admitted to the bar in New York in 2002 and the Bucharest bar in 2008. Tudor has significant experience in emerging markets fund formation, including assisting emerging market-based sponsors in accessing international markets. Tudor has more than 15 years of practice focused on Venture Capital, Private Equity, M&A, Project Finance and Real Estate.
