Lexters has obtained final judgments to annul two franchise agreements concluded with a franchisor in the restaurant business. These litigations were first of their kind after the new franchise law came into force in 2019 – the annulment was sought because the franchisor had insufficient know how to operate the business.
Our team has supported SIMIGERIA PETRU a well-known Romanian bakery network – on the market since 1939 - on various trademark-related disputes, as well as current operations (copyright assignments and licensing, know-how transfer and franchising agreements, monitoring the trademark portfolio etc.).
Lexters has supported patent registrations for several tehnical inventions (both European and US) for business such as SoftTehnica, Sessions and the National Institute for Biology Research.
Our team has succesfully assisted ROBEN, a local toys manufacturer, against an injuction filed by a Hungarian competitor as to stop Roben from using its registered community designs.
